2 ª FAIR TRICONTINENTAL OF CRAFTS

PRESENTATION

2 ª FAIR TRICONTINENTAL OF CRAFTS has as aim, the promotion and diffusion of the handcrafted manifestations that give themselves one and another side of the Atlantic Ocean, Tenerife being formed as intercultural bridge between the peoples of Latin America, of Africa and the southern Europe.

In the fair there was an approximate participation of 200 workshops craftsmen, answering to the following quotas:

• 80 craftsmen of Latin America, Portugal and Peninsula.
• 30 craftsmen of Africa
• 80 craftsmen of Tenerife
• 10 craftsmen of the rest of the Canary Isles

In the fair there was a celebration of a series of playful - festive acts that were helping to heighten the attractions of the event, to catch the attention of the public visitor, such as live demonstrations, exhibitions and musical actions, degustations, etc.

OPINION

What wanted to appear in this fair, was all the products craftsmen that we can be in the countries before renowned, where many of the craftsmen were showing us in his exhibitors since were realized.

The fair looked like to me a good method in order that the people know other cultures and that one that is typical of there, also I am charmed with me the toys that existed previously handmade because I think that they have more value than that it is now.

To part of crafts, many countries wanted to bring Tenerife his show restraint typical and to bandage them in order that the visitors could taste the food customs of every country.
