Route of Tapa

This is the sixth edition of the route of "Tapa" in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona. The employment agency and Local development of this municipality organizes this Tapa route with the idea of putting in value our products, our chefs and our local cuisine.

At present we are within the time period that this event is celebrated , from November 15 to December 15. They are involved 34 restaurants, bars and taverns in the municipality with an offer that includes a wide and varied menu of Tapas.

The price is: 2,5 Euros, they include a glass of water, of wine or a beer. In addition, you can extract the card of the "tapeador" that will allow you to take part in the contest of a food for two people.

Last weekend I did the route Tapa with my friends. We tasted several Tapas in El Médano. We begin in the restaurant El Braserito that is a cozy restaurant that this placed a few meters of the beach. The name of this Tapa was crust of thousand flavors (crujiente de mil sabores). Pastry put the following ingredients: spinachs, sauteed nuts, park tenderloin, goats cheese and coulisse of red fruits. The lid is a very good mixture of flavors for the palate very good .I recommend them to him.

We follow the route in the restaurant El Templete You that it is very luminous and cozy with a few seaworthy airs. The lid was a stuffed small squid (chipiron relleno) with black rice. With a rather peculiar flavor but very good. Also I recommend them to him.

We continue with the route in la Lata del gofio. Canarian tasca reminiscent of old grocery stores for their special decoration. His lid was the temptation of gofio (tentación de gofio). His ingredients are ravioli of gofio stuffed of ragú with cream of scum and almogrote. Very good with flavor of the land. Very good I recommend her.

 

The truth that the proven lids were very good. And that this route is a very good experience. For the motive that is divided in 3 different neighborhoods: Granadilla, San Isidro and El Médano. And each of these neighborhoods there is route is not necessary to take car of restaurant to restaurant it is possible to do afoot.

Friends and I to them recommend friends the route and to begin from El Médano and to continue for Granadilla.
